Job Requirements:

• Ensure that all policies, practices, activities and programs are in compliance with state and federal regulations where applicable.  

• Responsible for directing the HR functions and administration of policies related to recruitment, HRIS, compliance, employee and labor relations.  

• Plays a key property leadership role in driving excellent guest service through employee engagement.  

• Coaches and develops supervisor/manager skills in performance management.  

• Provides guidance to department managers on internal policies and procedures, employment laws and union contracts.  

• Reviews counseling notices, ensuring legality and compliance with internal policy.  

• Establishes and maintains relationships with team members at all levels of the organization to provide team members and management with accurate feedback.  

• Works with managers to ensure proper flow of communication and timely resolution of employee issues and complaints.  

• Assists Vice President of Human Resources in the creation of a positive work environment that is energetic, friendly and that supports core values.  

• Monitors legislative/regulatory issues affecting human resources and communicates these to the Vice President of Human Resources.  

• Assists the Vice President of Human Resources with the development of human resources team members.  

• Prepares responses to legal concerns for review by corporate counsel.   


Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Administration

• PHR or SPHR certification preferred 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills 

• 5+ years experience in Human Resources Management
