Description:

Our client, a leading banking institution in Nevada, is seeking a Mortgage Sales Manager to join their Las Vegas, NV branch. The desired candidate will have a proven track record of growing existing mortgage sales, while providing expertise on mortgage product offerings and state laws/regulations.

Position Summary: The Sales Manager is responsible for managing residential mortgage consultants over a large geographical region, providing guidance and support to achieve production, market share, and profit objectives in the origination of residential mortgage loans.

Position Specific Requirements include the following essential functions as well as other duties as assigned:

• Train and support mortgage consultants in the areas of: Mortgage product knowledge; State and federal laws; developing effective relationships with real estate professionals and other business partners; Effective client-based sales and service strategies; and appropriate usage of mortgage software.

• Track and report to Senior and Executive Management on residential loan production and its application to defined expectations including presentation of relevant, timely, market-based recommendations.

• Manage mandated mortgage licensing policies and procedures through applicable state and federal agencies and departments.

• Ensure adherence to loan quality standards as defined by internal policy and procedure as well as remediation of loan quality exceptions identified by 3rd party vendors.

• Consistently manage applicable vendor relationships

• Contribute to initiatives that are within the Strategic Business Plan.

• Develop and maintain an understanding of the company’s financials and how your department contributes to their success.

• Ensure staff adheres to established GNM Customer Service standards.
